About the Performance:
Rediscover the magical framework of Dickens’ classic with a fresh, heartwarming original adaptation that “makes you believe kindness can win”.
We follow the framework of the story through Nebraska City’s rich history, when a wealthy businessman whose disdain for the holidays is transformed on a fateful Christmas Eve. Directed by Joel Egger of Doane University, and featuring a first-rate marvelous cast of local Nebraska actors. Written by Mike Semrad, with original music by local great Jack Rodenburg, this musical will have you singing along while taking in all the feels of the holiday season. This is a family-friendly performance, and a first of it’s kind on the Nebraska City Creative District season. Get your tickets early!
